Fair rules for a useful network.

1. Agreement and operator

DiscoverTCG is operated by Stockulate in the United Kingdom. By accessing or using DiscoverTCG, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Additional feature-specific terms may be presented before you use a new feature. The privacy notice explains how personal information is handled.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 to create an account. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms on your behalf where required.

Anyone creating or managing a store profile confirms that they are at least 18 and authorised to act for that business.

3. Accounts

• Provide accurate information and keep it reasonably up to date.
• Keep your sign-in credentials confidential and use a strong, unique password.
• Do not share, sell or transfer your account without our written permission.
• Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access or misuse.
• You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless caused by our failure to use reasonable care.

We may require reasonable verification for store accounts, sensitive changes, safety investigations or account recovery.

4. What DiscoverTCG provides

DiscoverTCG is designed to help members discover local trading card stores, view store-provided listings, share product findings, discuss and validate reports, and request directions.

At the initial stage, DiscoverTCG is a discovery service and does not process in-app purchases. Any purchase made at or with a store is between the customer and that store. We may add, change, test or withdraw features as the product develops.

5. Content you contribute

You retain ownership of content you create, such as photos, findings, comments and store listings. You give Stockulate a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt for technical formatting, display and distribute that content only as needed to operate, improve, promote and protect DiscoverTCG. This licence ends when the content is deleted, except for reasonable backup periods, content shared by others where continued display is necessary, and records we must retain for safety or legal reasons.

You confirm that:

• you own the content or have the permissions needed to submit it;
• the content is accurate to the best of your knowledge and not deliberately misleading;
• photos do not unnecessarily identify bystanders, children, vehicle registrations, receipts or other private information;
• the content does not infringe intellectual property, privacy or other rights; and
• the content complies with these terms and applicable law.

We may label, reduce the reach of, expire or remove content to keep the service useful and safe. Community validation indicates member feedback, not independent verification or an endorsement by Stockulate.

6. Acceptable use

You must not use DiscoverTCG to:

• post false stock reports, impersonate a person or business, manipulate validations or coordinate misleading activity;
• harass, threaten, discriminate against, exploit or expose the private information of another person;
• upload illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, harmful, infringing or malicious material;
• scrape, harvest or systematically copy member, store or product data without written permission;
• probe, bypass or interfere with security, authentication, rate limits or service operation;
• introduce malware, automate abusive actions or use the service to send spam;
• misuse location information to track, intimidate or endanger anyone; or
• encourage anyone else to do these things.

Use safe judgement when travelling. Follow road rules, do not interact with the app while driving, respect store policies and never enter restricted or private areas to create a report.

7. Store members

A store member is responsible for keeping its public identity, opening information, products, quantities and prices accurate. Store members must:

• have authority to represent the listed business and provide verification information when requested;
• not claim products are available when they know that is untrue or use misleading pricing;
• comply with consumer, advertising, product safety, tax and trading laws that apply to their business;
• handle any customer transaction, return, refund or complaint under their own applicable terms and legal duties; and
• not use member information obtained through DiscoverTCG for unrelated marketing or profiling.

Verification means we have completed the checks described at that time. It is not a guarantee of a store, its products or its conduct.

8. Third-party services and places

DiscoverTCG may link to maps, navigation services, store sites and other third-party services. Their terms and privacy notices apply to their services. We do not control third-party availability, route accuracy or business conduct.

Always confirm that a route and destination are safe and lawful. Map information may be incomplete or delayed.

9. DiscoverTCG ownership

Except for member content and third-party material, Stockulate owns or licenses the DiscoverTCG software, design, branding, text, graphics, databases and related intellectual property. These terms allow personal or authorised business use of the service; they do not transfer ownership.

You may not reproduce, reverse engineer, distribute, sell or commercially exploit DiscoverTCG except where the law does not allow that restriction or we give written permission.

10. Moderation and suspension

We may investigate, remove content, restrict features, suspend or close an account where reasonably necessary to enforce these terms, protect members or stores, comply with law, respond to security threats or prevent harm. Where appropriate, we will explain the action and offer a way to contact us.

Urgent action may be taken without advance notice. We may preserve relevant records while reviewing abuse, disputes or legal requests.

11. Availability and responsibility

We will provide DiscoverTCG with reasonable care and skill. However, the service may be interrupted, changed or contain errors, particularly during testing. User-generated findings, store listings and third-party map data are not guaranteed to be complete or current.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or rights that consumers cannot waive.

Subject to that, Stockulate is not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when you agreed to these terms, losses caused by inaccurate member or store content that we could not reasonably have prevented, or business losses suffered by a consumer. Business users may be subject to additional written terms before commercial features launch.

12. Ending use and changes

You may stop using DiscoverTCG at any time and may request account deletion through the available account controls or by contacting us. Provisions that logically continue—such as ownership, resolved content licences, liability and dispute terms—survive closure.

We may update these terms for new features, legal requirements, security or clearer wording. Material changes will be notified appropriately. If you do not accept an update, you should stop using the service before it takes effect.

13. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you retain any mandatory protections and may be entitled to bring a claim in the courts where you live. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern.
