Pick your side of the counter. The product is in active development, so availability and launch timing are deliberately not promised yet.
Not publicly yet. The app is built and being tested on real devices, feature by feature. It will arrive as a phased Google Play release, Android first, with no launch date promised. Register interest by email and say you are a collector.
Finding shops, reading community findings and following the map are free. If a paid collector tier ever exists, its terms — including how to cancel — will be published on this site before it launches.
Pokémon is the initial product focus. Broader trading card games may follow once the local discovery model is proven — the shop directory already lists independent card shops whatever they stock.
Every shop is curated by hand from our own research, with store locations from OpenStreetMap contributors, and from the shops themselves once they claim their page. Details change, so every shop page ends with a correction form that a person reviews before anything is published.
A finding is a report of stock seen on a shelf, with a photo and a location check. Other collectors validate it, it expires honestly as time passes, and verified reporters climb eight collector ranks. Moderation always comes with a written reason.
Watch a card or sealed product, choose how far you would travel and the most you would pay, and you are alerted the moment a nearby shop lists it within that budget. A watch with a price cap only fires for a listed price inside the cap — it stays silent rather than guessing.
Always. Release-day tickets are free reservations with one live ticket per person, so scalpers cannot stack them. DiscoverTCG never handles money between you and a shop.
Today the website gives you the shop directory, a shop finder by postcode or town, and every participating shop’s live shelf. Collector features on the web — watches, saves and product pages — are on the roadmap.
Report content, conduct or an intellectual property concern through the routes on our reporting page. For a privacy request, email support@discovertcg.com with “DiscoverTCG privacy request” in the subject; the privacy notice explains your rights.
Yes. If your shop is already in the directory, sign in at discovertcg.com/workspace and claim it — a person checks the claim and approves it. If it is missing, email the shop name and general location and we will add it first.
Nothing during early testing: no fees, no commission, no payments through us. If a paid store tier is introduced later, its pricing and terms will be published here before it starts, and nobody is moved onto it without being told.
A full workspace in the app or any browser: stock with prices, quantities, conditions and grades, CSV import, a spotlight shelf, release-day events with anti-scalping tickets, live chat with local collectors, your own styling — and a live, shareable page at discovertcg.com/your-shop that is also listed in the directory.
No. DiscoverTCG never stands between you and a customer: your shelf sends collectors to you, tickets are free reservations, and there is no marketplace or checkout on our side.
Edit items in the workspace and the public shelf updates instantly; bulk changes go in by CSV. Live market prices beside your stock, with alerts when a card you sell moves sharply — on thresholds you set — are planned for after launch.
No. Collectors can message you during your opening hours; outside them the inbox is closed unless you choose to allow it. You can always reply, and you can label conversations privately to keep track.
You allocate a number of free tickets; each person can hold one live ticket per event; codes are minted only when assigned and voided if revoked, with a written reason; and the code is redeemed at your counter. You can also hand tickets to your followers first.
Use the correction form at the foot of your shop’s page — a person reviews it — or claim the shop and edit the facts yourself: description, phone, website, opening hours and photos change instantly once you are approved.
An email address to sign in with (no passwords), your shop’s name and location so we can match the claim, and, when you are ready, your stock — typed in, or a CSV from whatever you use now.
