1. Current website use
At the date of this notice, this public website does not set non-essential cookies and does not run advertising or cross-site behavioural tracking. There is therefore no non-essential cookie consent banner to accept or reject.
The website uses Vercel Web Analytics to count page views in aggregate. This measurement is cookieless: it stores nothing on your device, sets no identifier that persists between days, and does not follow you to other websites. It tells us which pages are read and roughly how many people read them, and nothing about who those people are. Vercel Inc. processes this data on our behalf as described in our privacy notice.
Shop pages also report, to the shop concerned, that a page was opened and whether its phone number, website or directions were tapped. This is cookieless too — nothing is stored on your device, the request carries no identifier beyond what any web request carries, the server keys it on a salted hash that is never shown to anyone, and shops only ever see totals. A Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal from your browser switches it off. See the privacy notice for the detail.
The website host may create ordinary server logs, such as an IP address, requested page, time and browser information, to deliver and secure the site. Server logs are not necessarily cookies because they do not require information to be stored on your device. Their use is covered by our privacy notice.
2. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files stored on a browser or device. Similar technologies include local storage, software development kit identifiers, pixels and other methods that store information on or read information from a device.
Some technologies are essential to provide a feature requested by a user. Others support preferences, audience measurement, advertising or profiling. UK rules generally require clear information and a valid choice before non-essential technology is used.
3. Essential technology
The public website may later use strictly necessary technology for security, load balancing or remembering a privacy choice. If introduced, we will list the name, provider, purpose and duration here even where consent is not required.
The DiscoverTCG app uses secure on-device storage where necessary to maintain an authenticated session and requested preferences. This is used to provide account functionality, not for advertising.
4. If this changes
Before adding non-essential analytics, advertising or similar technology, we will:
- audit what is stored or accessed and why;
- update this notice with the technology, provider, purpose and duration;
- ask for a clear choice before non-essential technology loads where required; and
- make withdrawing or changing that choice straightforward.
Simply continuing to browse will not be treated as consent to non-essential cookies.
5. Browser controls
Most browsers allow you to view, block or delete cookies and site data. Blocking all storage may affect sign-in or other features where it is strictly needed. Consult your browser’s privacy settings for the controls available on your device.
