For card shops

See what your town is chasing.

Every day someone within a few miles of your counter is hunting a card. Right now you find out only if they happen to walk in and ask. DiscoverTCG puts your shop on the map for free — and shows you exactly what they were after.

  • Listing free forever
  • No commission, ever

The gap

The sale you never knew you missed.

A collector opens their phone, searches for the card they need, finds nothing nearby and orders it from a marketplace three hundred miles away. You had the shelf space. You just never knew to fill it.

That happens to independent shops every single day, and it is invisible — there is no line in your till report for the customer who never came in. It is the one number no card shop has ever been able to see.

  • Searched, not found

Someone looked for a card near you and nobody nearby had listed it.

  • Waiting, right now

Collectors can ask to be told the moment a card appears near them. Those requests are standing demand.

  • You had it, then didn't

The restock list: things you used to carry that people are still asking for.

How it closes

Demand, shelf, doorway.

Three steps, and the middle one is a single click. This is the whole product — the rest of the console exists to support it.

  1. They go looking

A collector searches for a card, or asks to be alerted when one turns up within range of home. Their phone knows roughly where they are. We never tell you who they are — only how many.

  2. You add it to the shelf

The card appears on your demand board with a count beside it and a button under it. One click puts it on your public shelf at the price you set. No listing fee, no approval queue.

  3. Everyone waiting hears

The moment it lands, every collector who was watching for that card near you is told your shop has it, how far away you are and what you are asking. Then they come to you.

Free and paid

Being found is free. Always.

We are not selling you visibility — the directory already gives you that, and it stays free whether you ever pay us a penny or not. What the subscription buys is the ability to act on it.

The console

Runs in a browser. No app to install.

Everything below is built and running today. Sign in from the shop computer, your laptop at home, or your phone behind the counter — it is the same console.

Your shelf

Singles and sealed, priced how you like. Condition, language, finish and grading on every single. Bring your whole inventory in from a spreadsheet with the CSV importer, then filter and sort it like a stock system rather than a list.

The inbox

Collectors message the shop, not a person, and any member of staff can pick it up. Replies arrive live. Set your out-of-hours and the app tells them when to expect you back — but you can always answer if you want to.

Events and tickets

Put a release day on the calendar, set how many places there are, and hand out free tickets to the collectors who follow you. Redeem them at the counter. Close bookings, reopen them, or cancel with a reason people can read.

Drops

Say a delivery has landed and every collector following your shop is told. It is the difference between a box of new stock sitting in the back and a queue outside on Saturday morning.

Your details, your way

Description, phone, website, photo, and an opening-hours editor that understands the awkward ones — split lunch closures, late nights, bank holidays. Style the page with your logo, your colour and your tagline.

Staff and branches

Add the people who work the counter so they can answer chats and update stock. Run more than one shop and they sit side by side in the same console, one tab each.

Straight answers

What we are not going to pretend.

You have almost certainly been cold-called by a directory that promised you the earth. So here is the unflattering version, in writing, before you give us anything.

We are new, and small

DiscoverTCG has not launched publicly yet. The shops are on the map, the console works and the app is in testing — but the collector side is still filling up. The demand board is built and counts real activity — but it shows a card only once at least five different collectors near you have looked for it, so early on yours may honestly say “fewer than 5”. It only becomes worth paying for once there are collectors near you generating demand, and we will not put a number in front of you until it is a real one.

Your listing does not depend on paying

Your shop is on the map because collectors should be able to find it. That is the product. It does not switch off, degrade, or drop down the page if you never subscribe, and nothing about your listing is held back to make a point.

We never touch your money

No commission, no payment processing, no marketplace fees, no cut of anything. A collector finds you here and then buys from you, in your shop, on your terms. The subscription is the only thing we will ever charge you for.

A failed card is not a catastrophe

The first time a payment fails, everything stays switched on for a week while you sort it out — no emails threatening removal. That grace is available once in any twelve months. If you do lapse, your stock is hidden and never deleted, so coming back is one payment, not a rebuild.

You can leave

Cancel from your own billing page whenever you like and keep the features until the month you have paid for runs out. If you want your shop taken off DiscoverTCG altogether, email us and we will remove it. We would rather hear what went wrong, but the answer is yes.

We tell you who is asking — as a number

The demand board reports counts, never people. You will never see a collector's name, email or address because of something they searched for, and there is a floor below which we show nothing at all rather than risk identifying somebody in a small town.

Questions

The ones shops actually ask.

Something not here? Email support@discovertcg.com and a founder will answer, not a helpdesk.

Does it cost anything to be listed?

No, and it never will. Your listing, map pin, address, opening hours and public page are free for every shop on DiscoverTCG, whether you claim it or not. The subscription pays for the tools that sit on top of it.

Do you take a commission on my sales?

No. DiscoverTCG never handles your money, never processes a customer payment and never takes a percentage of anything you sell. The monthly subscription is the only thing we ever charge.

How much is it, and are there contracts?

£34.99 plus VAT a month — £41.99 including VAT. No contract and no minimum term. Cancel from your own billing page at any time and you keep everything until the period you have already paid for ends.

What happens to my stock if I cancel?

Nothing is deleted. Stock above the free allowance is hidden from your public page rather than removed, so if you come back your shelf is exactly as you left it. Your listing, address and hours stay live throughout.

My card failed. Do I lose everything straight away?

No. The first time a payment fails you get a week with everything still switched on, so a card that expired over a weekend is not a problem. That grace is available once in any twelve months, so one bad month years ago does not count against you now.

I run more than one branch. Do I pay full price for each?

No. Each branch needs its own shelf because each holds different stock, but the price per shop falls as you add them — £29.99 each for two to four, down to £19.99 each at ten or more, on one invoice for the company.

Can I be removed from DiscoverTCG?

Yes. Email support@discovertcg.com and we will take your shop off the directory. We would rather you told us what was wrong first, but the answer is always yes.
